Maybe if we all pool our resources we will be able to buy one. We can rotate weeks driving it.

Thumbs down

the OG design stood the test of time. its what? 17 years old and still looks like a contemporary car. Get the designer of S2000/Nsx back on this project.

The concept version of the NSX is too space-cadet and the HSC is too throw back (although it would carry on the NSX tradition)

If they are looking to replace the NSX with something else it needs to have a departure in the looks department. If they are going to reintroduce the NSX moniker, then they should look hard at the HSC and maybe redo some of the angular body lines into something more elegant and do something with the rear end of the cabin area...it ends too abruptly. Other than that, I love the HSC design.

NSX concept:

Nope. The front-engined, V10 layout has been absolutely finalized.

I'm excited at the prospect of Honda building this car, but then I'm sad that they are using the NSX name for such a thing. SH-AWD, aluminum frame, 500bhp @ 8000rpms (hopefully) sounds like an amazing car. On the style side, I am hoping they lean towards something more on the HSC side with a bit more elegance and a little touch of something that genuinely has Honda-styling written all over it. Autoblog usually has very good coverage of what's going down with the NSX and the comments made by "coilover" at Detroit were covered better by them, I think.

I'm just happy that everything came to a screeching halt and they said "WAIT, hold on.. we have to make this thing look really good or nobody is going to care how it performs".

On the other hand, does this mean that the new NSX is being designed by the new Acura design studio in California!? Say it ain't so... the NSX should be 100% Japanese! Acura in Cali should only be working on the new TL & RL..

The HSC looked so good, and was very well received... so they totally redesigned it and everyone hated it. Now they don't know what to do Should we mail them a picture of the HSC? Maybe they forgot...
