I'm looking for a small CHEAP truck for a daily. Driving the S everyday gets a little stressful.

Like the S10. Nice truck
Thats crazy i own 2 other cars and everytime i drive them i wish i was in the S2k. I guess thats why i have 129k oin her. Stressfull? Its just a car enjoy it i dont let crap bother me. A shopping cart hit my car up at the dragon and put a small dent in it. Sure i was pissed but i got over it. Drive the car and enjoy it

Don't get me wrong. I enjoy the crap out of it. I want something else to drive the 3 miles back and forth to work so I don't put stupid miles on the car. I also want to be able to take something on the car apart and not have to worry about getting it back together to drive it to work in the morning. I want to keep this car as long as possible so I want to save it. Plus I can save a ton on insurance if I have a DD. I could save enough in one year to pay for the DD. And I want a truck. It's a bitch anytime I need to haul ANYTHING and it wont fit into the S so I have to find a truck to use. There is a motive to my madness.

Ron- Got any of those $1 bills left from last friday night? hehe

My daily is a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab pickup. Not much good on gas, say 12-14 mpg, but can haul about anything, including 5-6 passengers inside and has tow package for boat trailer or the like. I have 18 inch custom wheels 285x60-18 tires (some meat on the road). Both the S2000 and the truck are paid for, so no payments makes it easier to pay for the gas for the truck.

Not exactly a 'daily' ... but, pretty frequently lately since I've put a mini-lift on it. It is my 'leetle friend' (Amigo )

Hey Josh ... I think we share the same motor ... right?
All you need is a 502 big block

Either that ... or an LS1/2.

I have to say the V6 in it now really runs well. Plenty of power (200hp factory) and torque. And I'm still seeing almost 20mpg with 33's on it. So, a big block just doesn't make sense right now.

yes ... as Chrevolet was kind enough to 'sponsor' it with a motor
