ok i stand corrected about the Elise, we will have to wait and see when one comes out, then we will have to pray someone can drive it.

 

Can't doing anything that weekend (April 30), as Joy is having her wisdom teeth pulled that day. Which means, I'll be taking care of her for the several days following surgery!

The Elise is cool, but it will be in a completely different class. Also, someone had mentioned that there is an issue with tires that will make it less competitive in its class against other cars. I think the Elise can only fit a certain size tire, and it will actually work against it for autox.

 

This is true but the word is that Lotus has taken note of this problem and plans to correct it. As it stands right now it may have a tire problem in the stock class.

BTW Gerry, I was raised on the beach and had much fun in dune buggies. I like the looks of dune buggies and love the looks of the Elise. Of course I may have bad taste, I own a car that doesn't even have doors, a top, or fenders.
