I would like to do some more research on the plugs. When Jeff gets back in town we can try it again.
I bought a set of these Pulstar pulse plugs and am trying them out right now. So far they seem at least as good as stock if not better. I realize the butt dyno is not an accurate guage of performance but it does seem to have some more pep. It could just be that my stock plugs with 91000 miles on them needed replacement and any plugs properly gapped and installed would have been an improvement. When I removed my stock plugs the gap in them was set at (or had widened to) nearly .060"!!!!
It should be noted that my stock plugs were not giving any problems at that gap.
I gapped the Pulstars to the recommended gap ~ .041" and reset the ECU and went through the idle relearn procedure.
I will be going to the dyno soon to see what I am at currently after all mods recently done (Mugen AP2 header, Invidia 70mm TP, T1R-70EM single exhaust and of course the Pulstars) Sadly I do not have a baseline dyno to compare to but the final numbers will show if any gains are attributable to the pulstars on comparably equipped cars dyno'd without the pulstars.

Changed out my densos that I installed about 6 mos ago. Nothing wrong with them but wanted to test these pulstarplugs just for giggles.
Gapped them to .043, torqued 20ft. lbs. Three of the plugs came pretty close to perfectly gapped and one was way off .040. You definitely want to check everything. Their tech told me to be careful not to get any of the dielectric grease on the copper tip. Said it would ruined them. Never heard of that because I'd always put it on the tip in the past. Just keep it on the ceramic insulator portion to be safe.
Engine now idles a whole lot smoother/quieter and pulls a bit stronger. Nothing earth-shattering but definitely a small improvement. I find the value over price reasonable if mpg improves.
Time will tell. Just filled up, normally averaging 310 miles per full tank.
Their customer service is atrocious. When asked what all's included prior to ordering, they said "4 Be1 plugs and some dielectric grease". When the grease was missing they matter of factly said they ran out and told me I can pick them up at any auto store. I told them I know exactly where to find it but don't appreciate making that trip for them so they will send it to me when it restocks, because I'm one of those customers who actually enjoy getting everything I pay for. You'd think at $25 per plug they could afford to stock up on some inexpensive grease.
Gave me a 25% discount code "0041" good till 5/1/08.
