I found one in good 'ol nsb. They did some work on my GSR and it came out great. I wanted to see if anyone had that kickass shop intown but this could be the one.

The owner and i were talking about how it's wierd how we are both very particular about our cars, and how even the smallest door ding irritates

At least you are OK Willie...

It doesn't look like the frame is bent in the pictures. Hopefully its just the bumper cover and maybe the cross beam underneath.

Almost makes you wish they would reinstate vehicle inspection in this state (for those of you old enough to remember when we had it). To most people, you'd think that the brakes not working would be a hint that it shouldn't be driven (except maybe to the brake repair place )

Bill, glad to hear that you're alright, even if somewhat sore.

Here's hoping the damage was only superficial...

Don't feel too bad Bill. My car got hit three weeks ago. It was parked, and some girl backed into it with her SUV. At least yours only appears to have bumper damage. I WISH it was only my bumper. She barely scratched my front bumper, but she tore up my right front fender and may have damaged my headlight assembly.

It goes in for repairs on Monday. I'm getting a whole new right front fender and a repainted bumper. And of course, they have to blend the paint on to the hood and door/mirror.

The estimate is $1,500 unless there is damage to the headlight. Luckily, she's at fault and State Farm is paying for my damages and my rental for a week.

But I'm still pissed that my car will never be the same, and I'll always be able to tell the difference. It was flawless before this. So I feel your pain.

February was a bad month for me in general, and this was just one more thing. But I know at least four other people that were hit or had damage to their car this past month as well. Bad drivers are everywhere!!!!!

thanks for the support everyone!

Nate I know the feeling...
Yeah it's gong to cost (edit) $2,118 to fix my car. I need a new bumper and a whole new exhaust... can anyone spell mugen? So at least i get some goodies. ( ipay the difference) My shop is going to blend as well, which is really a good thing. The honda dealership wasn't going to blend at all, they've already f'd up my mini van. they don't get to touch the s. My car was pretty much flawless before the accident as well, but now she's hurt.

I'm pretty confident in this shop. The owner drives a ferrari on tthe weekend and we all live in a small town, so if he does a shitty job i'm sure to bump into him. we've got mutual friends, and people see and ask me about my car all the time, he knows this, and wants to protect his rep. plus it's a simple job really, replace the bumper & blend the paint.

Nate, if you are unsure about your shop at all, pm nzaizar or jcarlton. Both of them know what's up and i'm sure there's a good shop in orlando that will do a quality job. it will be worth your time because i know how you feel about your car, because i feel the same way.

Glad to see you're okay. If you feel like the insurace is going to lowball you or screw you over, definately get an attorney in there asap. I used mine twice and gotten what I wanted from the insurance company. As much as people bitch and complain about lawyers, they do make things happen that I could not have done myself.

Damn, Bill, I'm so sorry to hear this. I read Nate's thread earlier today & saw some mention of comparing repairs at the dragon and didn't even realize your car had been hit.

Those pictures are painful to see. Reminds me of what my Prelude looked like when some a-hole ran into the back of me while I was sitting at a light. In that case, it turned out just that I just needed a new bumper cover, beam, and exhaust.

Glad you're ok - that's the most important thing!
Did the cops show up? I hope that idiot got a ticket!!!

Maybe you should tell the shop owner that you're taking his car if you're not satisfied with the repairs on your S.
