I just got off the phone AGAIN with the SPGP trying to get at least a group discount on parking for the decal guys and others that will be attending. No go. The city has most of the lots so they're in control. His recommendation for cheap is the Tropicana because it's $10 and includes a shuttle to and from the event.

 

We did that one day last year and is a good option. Lots of spots over there so you should be able to find a safe place for the S if you decide to bring it.

 

What ever happens this is a great event to have in our city! It is huge and I wanted to be part of it. I coudn't be in the parade lap and I didn't want to pay the price for tickets so...
I volunteered, I will be one of the grand stand guides. Look for me in Grand Stand #7 which is the best one because it is next to the exit of the paddock area and the right turn off the straight-away, if you are in that area, say hi to David.
