Do whichever you prefer though. Doing what everyone else likes is the wrong way to go about modifying a car.

I know, just testing out the waters.. I am not sure which way to go but feels like 1 is the way I am headed , might even get another CF hood to keep all CF

If you're going to spend $990 plus shipping on a replica, wet carbon, not so nice fitting hood, why not spend a couple hundred bucks more and buy the J's fiberglass hood that fits really nice? Here's what I'm talking about. http://www.icbmotorsport.com/jdmfimofrpca2.html

Is there a big difference between those two hoods. I was able to purchase my last hood for 750 shipped and I can get the same deal this time. Not sure if I spend 300-500 extra for that hood it would make a big difference but not sure

Fitment is key if you are very particular on how the part fits and looks. I seen some bad CF parts and guys don't care. If you don't mind a little gap or lift then you are ok spending less. But if you want OEM fitment... it will cost you.
