I'm confused. Where should the Orlando people meet? @ Daytona?

Haste, that's kinda up to you guys.

You can either organize your own group drive to the winery, or you can meet us @ Daytona. You and whoever else are more than welcome to join us East Coasters, and that's prolly the best way for you to check out The Route. Just make sure you let me know, so we don't leave without you. At this point I've got you on my east coast list.

If you choose to organize your own group, please let me know, and i'll just see you at the winery.

Side note: talked to Rita (the manager of Okeffe's) and because of the large number of eaters they are expecting with our group they have dedicated the outside dining area entirely for us They have requested that we choose our meal beforehand. This way the kitchen won't go crazy when they see a bunch of starving sports car enthusiasts. You can visit their website and check out the lunch menu, but i'll post the actual choices tomorrow.

As far as parking is concerned, there is a big parking lot within view of the outside eating area that backs up onto a lakeside park. Should be more than adaquate for our needs. Great photo spot and good for cartalk.

naw, i doubt it. It's a pretty classy joint. Everything will be cooked to order, so i'm sure nothing will be under heat lamps or anything. They just need to know how much to stock for that day. And how many people to haveon staff.

I expect lurkers to show up so & there will be plenty of food for them and everyone else, we just need a basic idea of how many people and what thier preferences might be.

have you perused the menu yet?

I think we'll be coming up to Daytona for the meetup at 9. I don't want to miss any of the cruising action. For any Orlandites wishing to come up with us, PM me.

Right now it's 50/50 that the S will be out. The alternate is my wife's wagon but we'll stay in the back of the pack. We wouldn't want to break up the convoy!
