Default Possible North Florida Meet?

I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in meeting this weekend. Calling all Jax/Gainesville/Daytona..and points beyond!!! The weather looks great highs in the high 60's low low 70's, perfect top down weather. Thanks for the space.

Sunday is the Florida State Autocross Championship at Gainesville Raceway (check out www.buccaneerregion.org)...there are going to be about 15 S2000s in that. Sadly registration is already full. But maybe an event Sat to go with it? S2000 cheering section on Sunday?

Are you sure it's full. I haven't seen any place to register for it. The flyer makes it sound like you just walk up and register. I was thinking about going down there Sunday. If you could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. I'd hate to drive down there and then have to turn around and come back.

The flyer doesn't mention it, but a limit of 175 cars was set. That was mentioned in the last minutes from the Solo2 monthly meeting...probably not the best place to put the info but that's where it is. Originally it was 125, but they decided to bump it up to 175. When I checked myautoevents.com yesterday, there were already 175 cars registered. I don't know if myautoevents.com will even let you register at this point.

For what it's worth, registration filled up about a month ago, very shortly after it opened. I didn't even get a chance to post about it here before it was full .

Thanks for the heads up Matt. I take it you have made the list. Good luck. I came in first out of the novices last month down there. It was my last event as a novice. I hope you kick some STI a$$. They seem to be dominating our class. I may ride down and cheer you on if I'm up to being jealous on Sunday.
