I know that it's seems ridiculous to some but this is literaly the only fear I have other than the Lord himself. I'm a control freak so giving up control over myself is just driving me nuts. Thanks for the kind words I can't wait to get back in my car. After this weekend I just can't even sit in it anymore.

Hey guys! Man what a day! Feel much better besides the fact that I feel as if someone whacked me in the spine with a crowbar. I originginally went in for an L5/S1 microdiscectomy but I guess teh doctor found 2 neveres pinched when he opened me up. I'm back home and in bed, can't really talk from teh breathijng tube and as you can see still can't type due to the drugs and don't feel like spell checkin.

Dude they sent me packin like less than 3 hours after I woke up. Back hurts like a mother but all my nerve pain is gone and thats what counts. I can't wait to here from the doctor. He told the wife now knows why I was in so much pain. I was taking 20 Mg of percocet 3-4 times a day. Now I need to get myself off of them I hope to go cold turkey but my wife and doctor don't think it's a good idea. I don't want to take them anymore but at the same time don't want to experiance withdrawal.

All in all I'm optimistic. Had a good talk with my anestesiologist and am at ease more with the idea. Plus teh morphine they pumped me up with before made everything alright!

Thanks everyone for your kind words and understanding.

Jeff take advantage of the meds. Be sure and use a stool softener with them.
You can eat lots of them without worrying about addiction.

You'll know when it's time to back off them and when it's time for an extra one.

I figure I ate several hundred of them over the course of the first 2 months.

It was not only easy to get off them, I couldn't wait. It felt so good to take a normal crap again after you get off them.
