I am interested to see what Ian thought of his first trip to CFRC. I talked to him when he first got there but didnt get a chance to follow up on how he did. I see 53.3 that is damn good.
Interesting.
I brought old old old tires. I usually run the car with A6's on a 8 inch wheel up front and just keep running the same old tires on the rear (7 inch wide R6's) over and over. (they won't wear out). So I put the R6's that have about 50 heat cycles on them from the rear on the front and put my back up set of R6's on the back. Well it pushed... BAD LOL as I kinda expected. Had a good amount of cord showing after that session. Track pays big for cars that don't have a push issue. There was 2-3 seconds in putting the A6's on but I'm saving those for Road Atlanta this weekend. I liked the track, Wish they would smooth out the transition on and off the drag strip. You bang the bump really hard under brakes coming on both times. Great way to wipe out front suspension pieces. I'll be back.... but in the winter.
