Like you, the general consensus (about 95%) of Lotus owners and S owners would vote to keep the cars stock, and I agree with you the Elise doesn't really need to be modified, is perfectly fine the way it is but I've always been a ricer at heart actually I like to add my signature so my car is a bit different....
As to the fogs, I also agree they look cheap (I failed to mention) but this is a temporary fix, I had found the perfect after market lamps but after replacing two sets in a week I gave up with the brand and returned both sets, I purchased this set because I had already ran all the wires and brackets and had two holes on the grill for the lamps I had to cover somehow. At the moment I'm looking for a used Exige set, new, the whole setup is over $350 which I will not pay for 2 fog lamps!! I appreciate your honesty...

By this summer this car is going to look even more radical so fasten your seat belts. I want to wide body it but my wife is holding me back!! I'm going to make the old farts in LotusTalk they don't like me already, they think I'm a Maniac. Guess what? I am

Looking good bro! I'm sure this is an obvious answer but what exactly do you do for a living?
