Is this the right forum?
The company I work for may transfer me to the Daytona Beach area, so I wanted to know if this was the right forum? Assuming it is, I have some questions.
First off - are there good S2K shops around there?
Is the club active - dinners, drives, tech days?
Are there auto-xs close by - SCCA events or some other sanctioning body?
I would assume that since the Daytona Speedway is close - there will be lots of track day opportunities.

Yes this is the right forum.
1. There are a few speed shops but none specialize in S2ks. 2nrwerks in Tampa does, they are about 2hours away.
2. the club is very active. I live about .5 hours south of Daytona. I go to Orlando meets and JAX for meets (they host weekly meets), and I am having a mod day/meet this Saturday at my house.
3. There are Auto X's galore. I am not the guy to ask, I am an auto X virgin.
4. Daytona doesn't let you drive there in an s2k. There are plenty of tracks in the state to run.
check chin motorsports for more info.

Yes, PLENTY of drives, dinners, mod days to keep you busy
If you do come back east, please bring me some In n Out burgers.
Miss those.

Sadly, In n Out has gone downhill. The last burger I had there, the meat was so thin you could almost see through it.
Hopefully this is not a sign for there future if they ever start moving back east.
You will love it out here though. Let us know when you are coming out for sure.
