so far i think Willie Gee has got the evening dining options set up ... but, as far as anything else i'm not sure what the plans are.

I'll be playing host to Christina for most of Saturday so she can get up-to-speed on everything I'll be there for the Friday race (Koni Challenge i think this year) so if anyone wants to meet.
As for Saturday: I usually try to be there at least 2 hours before the race start (grab some food, walk through the pits, pit lane, and then across the grass an up to the track wall for some great pics!) Then hang out for a couple of hours to walk around the infield course, see some great personal vehicles (Porsche Club is ALWAYS amazing). Stop in and say hey to Paha Koira (Jason) and SR71BB (Marty) and watch the New Castle bottles sweat it out By then it's usually time for dinner (or atleast a little leg-stretching in the S2000 via: Williamson, Midway Ave, Clyde Morris Blvd, and then the Bellevue Ext past Willie Gees place of employment )

After dinner depends on the time and mood. I'm pretty sure Christina and i will be going to a club, bar, and/or billiard hall on both Friday and Saturday night. But, we usually make it back to the race track for some late night racing and a walk through the east end of the track to check out all the hot grandmas ( Speedy)

Sunday is all based upon the Saturday night 'festivities' and if the ear-plugs are adequate enough to sustain the aural assault

... in a nut shell

Im not sure if you guys are aware of this but, this year the race is starting at 3 instead of 10...i guess it gives the west coast guys a chance to watch the start.

Unfortunately in the SCCA's infinite wisdom, they scheduled an Auto-X on Sunday. Never fear I will be at the track late into the night. But rest there I will not, I will sleep in to comfort of my own bed roughly 20 minutes from trackside.

Bump for date night, Speedy and Maggie are in!

Thursday night super secret Ker Winghouse meet?

Infinite wisdom, indeed, especially since SCCA provides track workers for the race. I guess corner workers don't auto-x?

just members like me who don't participate behind the wheel

I was thinking the same thing, though.
I know a few years ago Daytona International Raceway was doing their best to replace the 'free' SCCA volunteers with DIR employees. I'm not even sure if SCCA is the governing body anymore

SCCA isn't the sanctioning body, but they are the biggest source of corners workers, so the different tracks contract with them to work the events. I think the officials are provided by Grand-am, and safety crew is by DIS.
