There are a lot of rumors floating around about the future of the S2000 from the release of the S2200, a S2000 based coupe model, with a upgraded 2.2L engine making 250HP, to a total redesign for MY2005.

Nothing is factual until Honda states it in a press release of some sort. Until then its all rumors and heresay.

Mav's right! There are a lot of rumors. I talked to Honda several reps at the Detroit auto show and they didn't have any ideas other than a rumored stroked 2.3 to 280 hp.

Personally I would like to see the current S2000 to continue on much along the lines of the NSX's path. Maybe in 2005, see a displacement/power increase but continue with the same body. IMO, the body design is just perfect and fares well against its competition and for years to come.

I heard about a 3.0 V6 S2000 rumored to have 350 HP

Wider and longer Body for more internal space with a full size spare. Any comments?

the only thing I know for sure is that spa yellow will not be produced inthe 2004 model year and all yard tops in that color are being reduced, so if you want a hardtop or spoiler, better hurry!

S2200

That is what I think of that idea.... I am just waiting for toda to put their 2.2 stroker kit on the market... No need to buy a new car, just build it one piece at a time....

Acura doesn't manufacture anything.

That organization is nothing but a bunch of marketeers
