Default S2000 Supermeet in Destin

What do you all think about having an S2000 Supermeet in Destin, Florida. After we find a place to have it, I'll coordinate it. We could shoot for the first Saturday in November or sometime like that. There could be an S2000 Poker run along with other activities. I'll talk to some of my boys to help sponsor it, tell me what you all think, and how many would be interested in coming.

Hey Jeremiah, which dragstrip, the one at Holt. Do you think we could hook up the old airstrip in Pcola and do some fun driving, I know other clubs rent it out. Do you know who to talk to. I am really hoping to have my car back by then, it is going in the shop over here to get a little engine work done, after it comes out hopefully it will have about 425 to the wheels...with a new clutch like you said I needed. They guys who installed and are building my motor, just finished a yellow S from Pensacola and got almost 450 to the wheels.

I'm the guy to talk to and the airstrip (Bronson Field) has been off-limits to all car clubs since hurricane Ivan. Sadly there's nothing we can do about it.

The idea of a supermeet here in Destin started last night, I posted it in a few places and the show of interest has been incredible. Just since last night there have been 27 people email me and say that they would definitely come, so I am pressing forward with it. I'll keep you all posted and if anyone has ideas or would like to help that would be great. Thanks.

Bryan

Thanks! You will definitely be able to give me a run for my money with a new clutch, I am getting my clutch done next month as well, so we will see. One hint to you though, dont race me from a dig if you want a chance .

I won't race you from a dig, I am smarter than that. But last time we raced I had 301.1 to the wheels in a couple of weeks it should have about 425 to the wheels plus a new clutch, goin for revenge.
