S2k Intakes
Deciding on an intake is all down to personal preference...
Whether you want the sound, or the performance or the styling there are multiple options for you.
Sound: simple way for this would be to take the lid off the OEM intake box, this is one way to give your S a bit more grunt when you floor it..
Sound and performance: I'd recommend the K&N FIPK these give some pretty good gains for and intake and make the car sound pretty awesome IMO
Performance: go for the AEM, a good intake and good gains with a great sound much like the K&N
Styling & performance: and for what was my personal choice was the Tegiwa Carbon Intake, although you need to cut the OEM bonnet for it to fit I love the look of the engine bay with these fitted and you get some good gains over stock and the throttle response is much improved as well, the only thing you will lack with this kit compared to the K&N and AEM, is the sound and you may have a whistle if used with the OEM exhaust but if you plan on adding a Cat back then it doesn't matter as the car will still sound awesome!
Hope this helps

I have done lots of intake testing on these cars. There are good peak gains to be had with a properly sized intake pipe. I posted my results here:
