SarasotaRed Get Well!
As some of you know Steven Vlahon, AKA SarasotaRed has been fighting a rare form of intestinal cancer. Last week Steven's situation had taken a turn for the worse. On Monday night, surgery was performed to remove the mass from his intestine. I visited Steven tonight and He is doing well and his spirits are high.
I don't know if many of you know, but Steven is the founding father of the Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice S2000 group. Since Steven had moved to Palm Harbor our group has kept a low profile on the S2000 site. We've become more of lurkers rather than posters.
Steven is in recovery at the Moffit Cancer Center on the USF campus.
He is in Room 538, If you would like to send a card.
Steven, I wish you a speedy recovery and hopefully you will be well enough to make the Skyway meet in January which was actually started by you!!!!!!

What a surprise to see something about me on the board!
The cancer has been an extraordinary challenge, but has not yet defeated me or my spirit.
Just last evening I came home from Moffitt Cancer Center where I had been for almost 2 weeks. My recovery this first day home is very difficult, but I hope things get much better very soon.
Thanks for all of the good thoughts and prayers of those who have supported me in my struggle.
Last Saturday 6 different S2000 owners from Sarasota made their way up to Tampa to see me. That was very encouraging.
Take care -- and keep praying.

Glad you are out! Lisa and I were planning on coming for a visit this weekend. Didn't know you've been there two weeks already!
Glad you are out so quickly. Hope things are going well for you guys. Keep the spirits up. In a way, I'm glad I didn't get a chance to visit. You were in and out so fast! That's hopefully a good sign.
You know Lisa and I are always thinking and praying for ya. Hope to see you at the Skyway meet in Jan. That's your gig you know.
I about had us all arrested last time....
