I just did an online quote with Esurance for the hell of it and they are half what I pay at State Farm! What gives? Is this a good company or what? Has anyone dealt with them on a claim? If this is on the level I think I would be crazy not to switch over $83 a month in savings. What does everyone think?

The only thing I know is that their AM Best / S&P rating is very good. On par with some heavy hitters.

Esurance has been GREAT for me for 2 years now!
the one claim I've had was handled superfast and no problems.
and yeah it really is a lot cheaper than anywhere else I've found.

Armando, I'm having a very difficult time reaching Mario... If you can contact him and ask him to please call me back it would be great. My current policy ends next week, and I'm getting a bit nervous now. Thanks.

Armando, thank you very much for referring me to your friend. He hooked it up with a fair deal with Progressive and they will re-rate me after 6 months to drop it back down to a normal rate, once my two accidents in 2000 come off my record.

Thanks to the rest who chimed in... you guys make this forum the best place on the net.
