Regarding esurance.com, I just did their online quick quote, and it's virtually identical to my current State Farm price. Last month I got a quote from Liberty Mutual that's nearly 1/3 less. I guess I know where I'm taking my business....

Price is not everything, most of the time you end up getting exactly what you pay for. Everything is fine until you have a claim. Is saving $300.00 worth the trouble.

I agree... I could of gotten real cheap insurance through a company like US Security or something, for about $900/6 months for full coverage. But instead I went with Progressive and I'm paying $1500/6 months. Why? God forbid but if something happens, I KNOW Progressive will be there and fulfill the claim quickly and effeciently. All the other cheap companies, I couldn't say the same about. A friend of mine used to have cheap insurance for his BMW. He had an accident and they refused to pay his claim citing some condition in his contract. He ended up sueing and won. But during that year before the court hearing he was without the use of his car, it sat at his house like a rotting corpse and he still had to make car payments. All this trouble to save a little bit of money. In the end, its not worth it.
