Well after 44k miles my clutch has started slipping. So, time for a new one. Years ago, I might have tackled the job myself (still would if there is someone out there who has done this before and would mind helping out), but these days I shy away from anything more than shade tree maintenance and repairs.

Anyone have a recommendation for a good shop in the Jax area that can handle this job for a fair price?

 

id call stage6 motorsports(never delt with them) or fifth gear (jonna, mechanic told me he installed 3 superchargers on s2ks, and changed a clutch on an nsx). those would be my reccomendations, but dont yell at me if anything goes wrong.

 

I'll tell you the same thing I've said in another thread... I like Duval Honda on Cassat Ave. I can get you in touch with some of the folks there and possibly get you hooked up if you want. Send me a PM if you are interested.

I'll agree with all.
I've heard good things about Stage 6.
I've had some tire/rim/spring work done at 5th Gear and like them a lot. Jonas actually isn't the mechanic but the guy you'd talk to in the shop. Jody is the guy in the shop.
Bryan does have some good connections at Duval Honda and I've used them personally. Good people.
