Default Shop Recommendations?

Hi all,

I feel like I've been posting here a lot lately, but I am trying to get this car 100% sorted.

I have a 2006 with an Exedy Stage 2 Clutch in it right now, and it is the hardest thing to drive around town. I have an OEM clutch kit (release bear, alignment tool, PP, Clutch and Pilot Bearing), and was considering going to a craft shop on an army post to try it myself, but it is very intimidating.

Does anyone have a shop they want to plug and point me in their direction? I'm trying to keep this somewhat affordable, but also have a quality job done.

I go to school in the Hampton Roads area, but I go to Nova all the time to visit my parents.

Thanks!

I take both of my cars (NSX/S2000) to my buddy's shop in Culpeper all the time. Great service and prices. Be sure to tell him I sent ya!

Cory is awesome. Though I broke my Stage Two Competition Clutch, and put in a State Four instead. I think it's easy enough to drive, but I let my mom, who drives a manual Tiburon, try it once. Hilarity ensued.

That actually reminds me, need to bring Yume over to Cory for state inspection, and to check some excessive oil burning.

Yeah I'm taking the car to Cory this weekend to get it all sorted out, among a couple other things I hope! I don't know what the issue is, but the clutch just feels really lumpy and unpredictable, and the engagement window is tiny. I really don't enjoy driving the car with it in.

Cory replaced the clutch for me today, and I'll definitely be going back to him in the future. No surprises on why he is recommended by so many people!
