I cant wait to see the pics from sunday. Where are they?

 

They're coming! I promise! The hubby hasn't had a chance to download them from his camera onto his computer yet. He likes to clean them up a bit in Adobe if needed. He's been swamped with a work deadline.
So I'm sorry! Usually he's right on top it!

 

I reminded him again, so he'll do it today/tonight. I'll post them as soon as I get them or send them to Williegee.

Okey dokey. Just hassled the burnt out hubby, lol, and I can have them emailing to you Williegee, in approx. an hour. He said there's quite a few of them so it's going to take a few to load.
We haven't even had a chance to even peruse them so some touching up maybe needed. Since a good portion of us were working and racing in the same heats, Josh and John took pics of the Heat 3 racing, incl Willigee's cone fury.

 

Yea John fell in love with the camera. I thought they would have to get a room together

The pics are 400megs, so I'm not going to be emailing anyone them unless they want their mail server to crash and burn. lol Tom is currently loading them onto his ftp server and then if Williegee wants, he can download them from there and clean (if needed) and post them. I'll pm Willie when he's done but it's going to take a couple hours. lol

 

do a "batch run" file size edit on them in adobe and make them a smaller width an dheight (constrain proportions). make a copy of the directory first and apply the batch job to the copied directory so you dont ruin the originals. then upload the smaller pics to your FTP for final editing (levels, contrast/brightness etc etc)

no need to post huge pics here. 600 wide is plenty big to view them here. if people want the bigger versions they can e-mail you for the OG pics

LOL! Yeah John imed me about after our first autocross but I'm not very knowledgeable about Tom's camera. I'm just starting out but hubby is an amateur photog and really enjoys it.
Tom won't be able to make the meet tonight b/c he has a meeting tonight for work stuff. I am going to try and come depending on how quick I get done with my sudden after work meeting that came up. lol

 

Thanks for the advice Primo! That's pretty much what we did last time for the May autocross pics but hubby hasn't had a chance to load them even from his camera. So if everyone really wants to see them now, the quickest way is to have hubby load them onto his ftp site (which it's halfway through) where if someone can, download them and then resize and post them. Tom says he won't be able to set up the batch script for the batch run until tonight. So b/c he's swamped we're just trying to think of a good way to accomodate all.
