This guy could be legitimately selling his seat. I hate thieves.

I emailed him and asked where they came from. Very suspicious sale, He lists that they fit civics and integras.

They sound shady to me...
From The Q&A on the ad,
Q: What year are these seats out of and is there any modifications to them?
Answered on Apr-05-08
A: These seats are from a 2004 AP1 and have no modifications done to them they are simply stock seats.

I noticed that too. If memory serves me correctly, 2004 was the first year of the AP2.

any legit seller IMHO would only list them as S2000 seats (not nearly every designation honda ever made), they would know the designation of the car it came out of (AP2 Vs. AP2) since hopefully they were the owner of that car they came out of and would list them at a price more befitting the value of the seats, not at a price a civic owner would like to see

we will never know and that is why these ebay auctions are so enraging.

WillieGee's AP2 is modified to become a AP1.

90% chance they're stolen.

What kind of person knows enough about cars to replace the stock seats with aftermarket ones but doesn't know the difference between AP1/AP2? The fact that he mentions the seats also happen to fit in Civics and Integras just adds to the likelihood that these were once in someone else's car.
