NOV 3, 2018 - South/Central S2000 BBQ Meet Extravaganza V1
Hello everyone.
SoFlaKidd and myself are planning a meet on November 3rd at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. I created an event on facebook which I will link below, but for those of you not on facebook and wanting to come I will copy/paste the info here.
"It's time.
November 3 is the date. Clear your schedules, you won't want to miss this.
$1.50 entry fee. A single and two quarters is all you need to come and chill, down some beers, eat some 'que and talk s2000s with like-minded enthusiasts. We're hoping to get a good turn out from south florida owners, but anyone from anywhere in the state that owns an s2000 is welcome to join.
Now, let me just say a few things.
-We're all coming together to have fun, but don't be ratchet. This is a park that is full of families with small kids, the last thing we want is someone getting hurt. So no tomfoolery i.e. burnouts, 2 step, hauling ass through the park, etc. We're all adults here.
-the BBQ will be BYOF/BYOB. I've set up meets in the past where people have shown up with nothing, chowed down on food, downed beers and dipped. I'm not saying this will be more of the same, but to minimize the chance of that happening the best thing will be to bring what you want.
-If you are finished eating/drinking, make sure to clean up after yourself. We want to respect the park and the people that work there, so leaving trash all over the place ain't cool.
-While it's cool if your boy with a K24 civic or boosted teggy may want to come out too, remember the focus is s2000s. We don't want the meet turning into a shit show.
-Have fun! Don't be afraid to spread your wings and meet new people. That's what meets are all about!"

We just got a few weeks until the meet. Put in requests for time off at work or tell your girl in advance what the plans are so there are no surprises for Nov 3rd. We will be there rain or shine
