At first I was like, Oh no he didn't! with regards the --3 color dancing led full undercarriage kit--Diamond plate floor mats--3 pod A piller gauge housing with oil pressure, water temp and non functional boost gauges all with the cool indiglo flame and hot chic sillouettes in them--Blue anodized lug nuts...

It was an instant flash-back to an S I had seen at the Costa Mesa mall in Cali last January. It had: gold/yellow/ green paint scheme with glitter and some gold multi-spoke 18's- What a disgrace!

Anyhow, how about Tein vs. Eibach Pro-kit ? Is there any noticable difference in feel ? I'm thinking of placing my order for the Eibachs soon

just as a comparison ...

I have the Espelir springs which are rated at a 1.3" drop.

Ride quality feels just like stock ...um, maybe a tad stiffer. Handling seems to be decent since I had a pretty good chance to test it out on Saturday during the drive/meet. We went over a substantial amount of changing road conditions and I can say that the car never felt unsettled. I aligned it PRIOR to dropping it and it still seems good.

hope that helps.

I bought the Neuspeed Lowering Springs off of EBAY for the Buy It Now price of $150 bucks + shipping. They claim 1.25" drop & I think that it is exactly that. I had the alignment don by 2NRWERKS Todd and it brought the rar tires in almost to where you could not see the "squatting crooked tire syndome". It does not rub at all, but, I have hit numerous parking curbs due to the ignorance on my part of just having to learn to stay back when parking.

OEM AP1 RIMS WITH ENHANCED 245-16'S ON THE REAR AND 215-16'S ON THE FRONT. THIS GAVE ME THE PERFECT LOOK, IMHO.

Primo, I bought my springs used so I didnt get any papers or anything with them so I dont know what Comptechs specifications are. But I will definately look into it because I have been a bit curious as to how low it is. Thanks.

contact comptech and tell them your story, they should supply you with the original instructions. I think that is what I did but I am not sure now (too much diet coke )

Drop it like its...

Tein Flex, perty darn low.. Go with coilovers, spend the extra $$ it is worth being able to adjust it how you like it. I had Espilers on prior and wanted it a little lower.

i agree w/ the coilover comment (true coilover not sleeved)

i have the flex as well.

ive had springs before but its def not an ideal setup considering the valving of your shock is not mated w/ the rate of the spring. also lowering the car on oem shocks increases the preload on the shock, increases the stress on the shock. sooner or later the shock will blow, but before that handling will be less than ideal because of the overload of stress on the shock. (pretty much your spring is doing all of the work and the shocks just trailing behind trying to control the movement)

thats just my 2 cents. but if you were to go with a spring id reccomend something very minimal just for looks and dont count on the car being "sooo much better"
