It's frustrating... I'm looking for the right rim choice to replace my 17" SSR Integral A2s (7" front, 8" rear). Here's what I want:
* Something simple, with a black center and possibly a machined lip, like the LE28n... the Kyowa Designs KR518 is about as radical as I want to get.
* 18" is ideal, but I'll take 17" if I can't find what I want
* Reasonably light, as my SSRs are 17 lb. front and 18 lb. rear, willing to add a couple of pounds for the 18"ers
* 7.5" front, 8.5" rear, but I'll lose 0.5" for the right rim
* Offset +45 min. front, +55 min. rear (not positive on the rear offset measurement)
* And the killer? Company must be willing to work out a sponsorship deal You find me the wheel, I'll turn on the charm
I want to keep the staggered setup, but that choice alone is severely reducing my choices. I came across a few rims I like, but they're never staggered, usually only 7-7.5", sometimes 8". If I could just convince a company to make a wider rim for the rear, I'd be stoked!
You don't have to run staggerd wheels. Unless you plan on tracking for pushiong the car hard and I mean HARD in the corners than a none staggerd set-up will do you fine.

No the problem is that you want a severe hookup. You can find a ton of choices but not for what you're looking for.......
Actually, the sponsorship deal is the last on my list of concerns at the moment... I'm just looking for some rims that fit my other specs, and so far I've come up with only a couple of choices (like the LE28n). Do you have any suggestions?
I know I mention them alot but they offer custom wheels and are open to 50/50 sponsorships through thier distributors. The closest one I think is in Gainesville/Ocala area.

damn you got some thick ass tires!
Was the smallest side wall tire I could find for the rear being a 265.
But being I wanted more rubber on the road I had to sacrifice a bit of looks to get there.
And stayed with a 17 to help keep the weight down
The front were sized appropriately to prevent then ABS from freaking out when on the track due to different rotation speeds when at the extreme of breaking force/tire cohesion.
+ the roads are bad up here in north AL to many post holes that I have seen compress a 225/255 setup on a 18 and either bend the rim or even crack it.
I have buddies that have taken advantage of a law up here that if the grade of a hole or step up between pavement sections is = to or greater than 2" then state must reimburse the driver the cost of the wheels/tires and any installations costs.
I looks good in person the pictures do make the side walls look BIG

If I got a flat, then, may ass would be outside with a ruler and a hand shovel making sure the pothole is at least 2" deep
