That is the kind of attitude that gets people killed. I wish you luck and good travels as you hurtle yourself through space and time. Just don't kill me, a loved one or a friend in the process. In such case, the wrath will be upon you.

A lot of people don't have good tracks available locally for their needs.
In addition, even if they do, who wants to pay for something that you can technically do out in the middle of nowhere by yourself. Granted, if you're around ANY kind of civilization or area that can hurt others or cause collateral, then OF COURSE you shouldn't be flooring it/and/or testing the waters and that should not be tolerated. But as long as you're completely out in the middle of nowhere on a road where you can't hurt anyone but yourself, I don't see the problem- and in this case, I don't see the difference between that and the track in concept either...

I look at street racing like committing suicide- there should be NO reason it should be illegal as long as you put yourself in a position and/or area where you CAN'T hurt anyone but YOURSELF-

just my 2 cents worth.

One flaw in your statement--[QUOTE]But as long as you're completely out in the middle of nowhere on a road where you can't hurt anyone but yourself, I don't see the problem-

you are potentially hurting others.
...that are also in the act of racing as well, so I don't see how that changes the original concept. I understand your logic, but i'll agree to disagree.

Its the same reason why suicide shouldnt be legal, or smoking pot by yourself in a contained area (not that it matters but you catch my drift)

I think we've all tried to have "safe" street races, but when you add up all the math, it's just not really possible. It's not a controlled environment. Anything can happen at any time.

Listen, we know we can't stop you from doing stupid things in your car, just know that these are stupid things and do your absolute best to limit the number of variables.
