Default Stroker poll

Im in a debate with strokers for my build
Toda 2.2, spoon 2.2, J's 2.2, feels 2.3L, tracy sports 2.2L, or inline pro 2.5L.
Just remember im only targeting around 270 whp while maintaining factory rev limit. well rev limit of an AP2 or 500rpm higher

I don't have any good input but am interested in the gains you get vs how much it will cost!

Personally, of those choices, I would send the car up to Inline Pro and let them do the install. If I recall, they even give a 1 or 2yr warranty if they do the install.

The owner, Ya, is on the boards and responds to PMs.

but see what i am trying to do is get an engine built myself so that i may possibly get a good rep of being a good engine builder so that people would want to come to me to get their engine built or something. sorry if some words arent making any sense my girl got me a little tipsy had 8 shots of rum. but any way im going to school to learn about engine building well at least thats the class im in now and so far we have put out 309 whp on an N/A set up but it was with a first gen 350ci chevy motor which i built with stock internals. but i have a better understanding of how it all works so that is why i want to build my own stroked N/A S2k motor. basically im just trying to get a good rep as an engine builder and tuner

Take a look at 4bang6's 2.7L and Ya's 2.7L Dyno sheets first. Your looking for 270whp NA.......there are few NA setups that surpass the motors previously mentioned.

Good luck with school.

huh that is interesting. i guess i didnt specify enough i guess what i was aiming toward is stroking an engine without having to bore the hell out of the engine. i want to have a bigger displacement without having to go over factory piston diameter. i just want the rings to make up for the bit bigger pistons i really hope that made sense. I suppose the 270whp was too high of a goal for a n/a 4cyl without boring but it is always nice to have goals. my school has an engine dyno so ill just take off 75 paracitic hp through drive terrain and hope i get over 300 bhp

That is true Jeff.

I would look into the inlinepro 2.5, or 2.7 liter.

You know I have the TODA 2.2 in low compression. I love the torque. 300@ the wheels with an FI set up. 4bang6 loves his 2.7

The options and pricing are better than when I set out on this project a couple of years ago.

Just be prepared to pay! It cost a lot to go fast, or have some serious power. Though you will enjoy it when you drive it.

Blake what is up?

I thought u were going into the military.

What happened to ur poll about body kits?

now it is the engine. No ur post about stock pistons and rings making up the difference made no sense. 300 hp on a na s2000 will be impossible if u an only get 309 whp out of a chevy 350 and do u know howmuh it cost to build a stroker motor!!!

Good luck.

Another option.....Brian Crower 2.4L kit

The following is from their site:

Kit # Crank # Rod # Piston # Desc.
BC0068 BC5069 BC6068 BC7069 97mm stroke

The BC stroker kit for the Honda F Series engine platform incorporates a 97mm stroke that fits both the early model F20C as well as the late model F22C. Depending on bore size that you decide, the BC kit will take you up to a 2.47L with 90mm bore. As usual, each BC kit features custom CP aluminum forged pistons, 9310 alloy wrist pins, ring pack and buttons. Available in any desired bore and compression ratio for use in turbo or NA.
