Sweet 16
Here's something I noticed last year.
If you want one of the really nice race hats for autographs or whatever, get them on Friday. By Saturday the St Pete specific hats were gone.
Don't forget a pen if you want an autograph or two. Kim Green came around last year and thanked us all personally before the race. You'll have lots of opportunities.

Lbsypher (Bryan) and I should be at the track early afternoon on Friday. I'd guess around 2 or so. Not sure how long we'll stay but probably till 5ish since my father-in-law will be at work till about then and that's where we're staying.
fltsfshr - I forget what those hats look like so I will look around Friday and gather up some goodies. Gotta get stuff for the kiddos for sure. I'll have your beads so no worries!!!

Hi
Sadly, it is time to bring this thread to a close. What a great event!!!!
First of all, a big thanks to Shay for being the spearhead on this event. It was a hair pulling task but you did a great job. If only the Grand Prix was as organized as you were. Thank you for everything.
A special thanks to all the participants. Your cooperation and patience made the event flow. We can be proud of our image that we portrayed to community. I got a great kick out of everyone sharing cleaning items and helping each other out. It really showed how tight a group we are.
I was in awe over the level of detailing on everyones cars. I can tell countless hours were spent getting the cars ready for big event. It really showed.
For those of you who experienced "The Parade lap Curse" Our thoughts are with you. You can be assured that you were with us in spirit for the event. We need to look into an exorcism or something to rid ourselves of the "Curse"
I want to thank everyone for welcoming my wife and I into the group. We were total strangers three days ago and now it feel as if we are old friends. What a fantastic bunch of people. We look forward to doing many more events with the Florida Florida group.
Till later
Chip
