Probably....he will be around most of the weekend.

 

Cool! FYI, ESPN will be showing the race, not sure if they'll show the parade lap though, but I already have TiVo set! Speed will be showing the Touring and GT races as usual, I never miss those!

 

They should be televising the the exceptional driving skills of the parade lap drivers. I have told all my family and friends to tune in just the same.

BTW when Dodge sponsored the 12 Hours of Sebring, they let the Viper owners group do two hot laps around the course......do you think we could be so lucky

 

Who can we talk to??? I'm qualified to run solo at Sebring, I don't see why I couldn't take the XM VP for a hot lap! I'll even bring a helmet!

 

Me too......my AirTran guy might not be able to hang on sitting up in the celebrity seat. Ha ha

Actually, I think there are two chances of that occuring this weekend.....none and non-existant.

 

No and non-existent is unfortunately correct about the hot laps and I seriously doubt they'll have the parade lap on TV. They didn't last year but you never know. It would be mega cool to do some spins around the track but they'll have you guys under close guard and behind the Rigdelines or at least the pace car during the lap itself. Just soak in the cheers and pray you don't have something around 300 lbs sitting on your car like Coasts2k did last year.

Cone - I was planning on just passing out all 16 T-shirt packages at one time (Sunday morning) to limit trips back and forth to the car throughout the event BUT I'm sure if you hoard up a few of you we can always walk out there and you can have your goodies Saturday. I gotta get fltsfshr some beads Saturday anyway so we'll work it out.

At least the XM dude will feel at home in my S since I have XM in my car!
