whats up guys.. Saying Hi from Thailand... I am still checking the forms now and then.. I will be here for almost 2 mounths...anyway , I think Scott has a good point.. sometimes i feel left out.. its kinda hard not having a CO even thu we are gaining alot of numbers out here... I think the biggest problem is that most of the SWFL s2k people dont post up as much as the Miami or Tampa group.. we need to join forces and invade.. and some how get our own Thread or at least a CO... anyway I also vote for Leon.. he seems he knows what he is doing plus I dont see him getting ride of his car anytime soon.. well ... I will be checking in from time to time.. Take care Guys.. see you soon.

Had the CO title several years back. I was more than happy to step down and pass it along after a year. Though I was honored to be nominated for it I was also very glad to reliquish so I didn't have to deal with all of the "pansy whiners and crybabies" (your words) but then again I have little patience for those types of situations so it was probably better for all that I did as well.
"Back in the day" there was VERY little activity from the Orlando area (as far as numbers of members not activity by those involved) in fact there was no South or West/Panhandle Forum. It was "us" and we had our monthly meets we routinely pulled in from ALL corners of the state (Jax, Tally, Tampa, Orlando, Boca, Daytona, G-ville, you name it). Then again "back then" 20 S2000's in one place was a HUGE meet. South needed their forum. Big group, active, etc. Tampa, and I personally think in LARGE part because of TidalDave, grew up and surpassed what we started in NE Florida several years ago.
I have NEVER seen the need to have Florida broken up in more than 2 or 3 forums but that's me. The COs do not edit, delete, or alter topics if they legitimately belong within the forum. It doesn't matter what corner you are from just POST. You post something, other people respond. You start organizing things in your area, more people take notice. That's how we started "the Founding 3" way back, that's how TBAS2k got started way back, etc., etc.
Just post and they will come : )
