Default Tampa Area Service for S2000

I'm looking for input on who to use for service on the S2000 in the Tampa area. I had a second to none relationship with my dealer/mechanic for my TA and want to establish the same kind of relationship for the S2000. Any dealer info and specific mechanic info will be appreciated. Thanks guys!

I use Classic Honda in Orlando. They treat me like royalty when I take my s2k. Ask for Billy Walker (service manager), he understands how much the s2k owner feels about their car.

Wynn almost has me convinced to drive up from Bradenton to go there!
The woman who's service manager at Honda of Bradenton has the "Do whatever it takes, as long as that's the bare minimum to make the customer go away..." attitude.
Had to talk to a technician to convince them to do the trans TSBs, patched my cracked dash, etc etc
As far as they're concerned, might as well be a used civic (no offense to the civic owners intended!).
I just DREAD going there, and the dealer in Sarasota was out for blood and wouldn't come of $39,995 when I went to buy, so that left a nasty taste in my mouth there.
You guys have a good dealer, you're lucky!
Keep up that good relationship with them!!

When I was shopping for my s2000 Classic was the highest in Orlando, I believe they were $5k over MSRP. I ended up going with Holler Honda who took my deposit and couldn't deliver. Now I have to drive all the way to Palm Bay to pick up my 2002 when it comes in (only God knows when that will be). I was a little concerned on which dealer I should bring it to but I think you may be right about Classic. When I had my del Sol they always seemed to do great work.
On a different note how many people from Orlando are on the board?

Just tell Billy I sent you, and tell them that you guys are as anal as I am about my car. I just had an oil change and took my own Mobil 1. I got out for less than 20 bucks and the tech who worked on my car took lots of time to speak with me about the oil and my car.
The way I learned about them was last year when they hosted an s2k meet at their dealership with a BBQ and nice tour of thier facilities. Very cool people about TSBs and problems from what I have seen personally. Some people on this board bring their cars from out of state for service there.
I asked if they were interested in hosting another and they said that they plan on it as soon as they build a larger updated service center.
If you decide to go there, let me know how it went. If you go, take any relevant TSBs or articles that may keep Billy updated as thier upper tier has taken web access from the service department last time I checked. He was very grateful for the info I took for him last time.

Thanks for the info. I'll try Classic at the next service interval.
