Service History

Is it possible to get the service history on a used S2000 by calling a Honda dealership or Honda corporate? Or are the records only kept at local dealerships and not shared?

pretty sure they are private... did you ask your dealer?

No. I'm interested in getting the service history of a used S I'm looking at. I was hoping if you gave Honda the VIN they could tell you the service history. I don't know where this car has been serviced.

The owner of the car may not have had service done at the dealer.

Well I'm more concerned about whether the cars had the major TSBs done.

They should be able to tell you this. It'll be logged into a nationwide database that any dealer can access.

Thanks. I gave Honda customer service a call and they were able to tell me the service history over the phone. All you need is the VIN #.
