Default TBAS2K.com

What do you kids want to do with www.tbas2k.com? Is anyone very good at putting web pages up that wants to update/maintain the site?

Since I'm still paying for it, I'd just give the password to someone and they can update it. All current event photos would stay. Whoever wants to update it cannot delete anything off the site. Just update and maintain.

My vote is for ROB to continue on with it.

I can do web sites and graphics but probably not like Rob... I'm up for the graphics part if someone wants to make the site.

I dont mind updating the pages. I am just wanting to know what the code looks like. Digging around in code made by someone else is OK enough but if they used some wacky editor like frontpage or worse, then the code is all funky and hard to work with.

I would not mind redesigning the site and keeping all the photo pages and entries of course and what not but updating the look and function of the site a bit.

I need acces to the server (FTP) and a little time to sift through the code and see what is up with it.

I would also need everyones devotion to getting me photos on disc or something fairly convenient so I can build up the new galleries quickly.

Has anyone seen the galleries on 2nrwerks - My motor rebuild? I can re purposes those easily and it may make browsing our events more conveient for every one

I have a couple of honey-do's for friends that have to get done before I can commit to this on a large scale but I am confident I can help out alot.

You know that you can do it....you know you want to! It's all yours. Besides, look at the fella's that will help you.

C.O. = Count On Me (sort of ....).

Dang, we got a bunch smart folks on this site. All I can do is smack some drums around, drink exotic beers from around the world and throw frisbees??

It's currently done in FrontPage, but you don't have to use that. You can use whatever you want, since all you really need to keep is the Past Events Photos Pages. All the other pages can be redone.

I only want ONE person to have access to the site with the password. ONE person doing the actual FTP. Anyone can pitch in, but Rob should be the only one uploading anything.

I'd like to somehow keep the Skyway Bridge Meet on the Splash/Front page, since that is the meet that started TBAS2K. You can have a roll over or a rotation in place to have other photos come up on the main page, but I'd like that Skyway one to be the first photo that appears.

Other than that, keeping the past event photos, and only having ONE person with the FTP passwords, you can do whatever you want. Keep in mind that space is limited, so you'll probably need to keep videos off of it, or only have one at a time and then remove it and add another one if you want.

I do have personal photos on the site that I have sent my family links to, so that will have to stay also. Hey, I'm paying for it all. It's not much really and doesn't take up much of the storage space.
