Default Test Pipe Install

Alright i just purchased a Berks test pipe from James_VVS. lets start with what i had before it.......invidia cat back and aem v2 cold air. after the install i noticed that there is not a huge jump in power when v-tec kicks in. i am kind of confused as to why this happened. my exhaust is much louder now and i am thinking that it is just hiding the noise of my v-tec which is deceiving me. or maybe with the test pipe i have a much smoother power band now??? any ideas why it seems that my v-tec is different from before?

thanks

I installed one last week, and it still kicks hard on Vtec. Was your foot all the way to the floor? On a side note, how do you like the smell?

your butt dyno isn't accurate. You may have had some mid RPM torque gains making the vtec seem smoother.

i haven't noticed any different smell yet. my car doesn't feel any slower....maybe smoother. my v-tec just doesn't feel as prominent as before the test pipe. before the test pipe eric, jamesk, angel, and myself had a 4 lane race down fowler. needless to say i kicked major butt. maybe i need to re-enact this race and see how i do with the test pipe.
