Me and the Zackmaster jacked up the Laguna yesterday morning, crawled under and did the Berk Test Pipe install on our backs. I was going to video it and do the sound clips with the db meter before and after thing but could not find the meter, so I was in the mood and decided to do it without the Hollywood production.

This is the missing link and I highly recommend this $100 dollar upgrade. No issues, fantastic growl and it does seem to pull a tad harder. I do not get the smell while inside the car at all but, do notice it when I am outside the car. But the sound is soooooooomuch better now than with a stand alone Fujitsobu. And the best part, still No Drone !!!!!!!!!!!

Couple of questions.

How much louder did the Invidia get with the test pipe?

Did it do anything to the drone?

I need to hear your setup before I do it.

Check your oil and tighten your throttle cable.

Low oil means soft VTAC engagement.

hey captain i have been meaning to get with you. i saw a pic of a nfr with some powdercoated wheels and spoiler to match and fell in love. i was told that person was you. to answer your question i have less drone now, but the exhaust is much louder. i am not quite sure if i love it or hate it. it sounds similar to those raspy civic exhausts but meaner. let me know where and when you want to meet up.

just checked oil and i wasn't low, but it looks like my cable could be tightened a little.

Two hours ago I installed the Berk test pipe to my Fujitsubo. I agree with Zacksdad, a bit more pull, nice sound, and no drone. However, when I originally added the K&N FIPK to the Fujitsubo, that made a big improvement in sound and power. I am very happy with the Fujitsubo, K&N FIPK, and Berk setup.

P.s. my SPL meter was 10 feet away but I didn't think of measuring the before and after. :-(

i started to smell the exhaust today, but it wasn't too strong. i imagine other people have had problems with the smell from what you guys were saying.
