Sweet! The BDL looks awesome. I can't wait to get mine back from getting it flowed with the intake.

The Koyo radiator works great. You should put the flex fans on also. They really move air and look much nicer.
Thanks Jeff. The BDL doesn't come mirror-finished, but it's pretty soft aluminum so about 15 minutes on the buffing wheel is all it takes. If you have a chance, can you take a pic of the port on your intake manifold where they matched the TB? I'm just curious how they did it b/c when i bored mine out to 70mm there really wasn't much material left between one of the studs and the port.

And I'll check out those fans as soon as my checkbook cools enough to touch

And thanks all for the . It gets a little depressing when you haven't been able to drive the car in so long, so any encouragement helps a lot.
At least you and Rob got encouragement..................

I was going to bore it out but instead I sent it to be bored, ported and flowed. I can't wait to get it on with the 780 injectors. Then retuned.

Yours is looking great. When you get your head off have 2NRWERKS port and polish it and then you can polish the front of the head like I did Rob's.

Awe man Post of some pics of that motor in progress and I'm sure you'll get all sorts of love. I, for one, would love to see how it's going.

I did a while back and got a " I feel your pain with a cat with a gun to his head"

When I get back I will see where I am at. At least I got Main and Rod bearings figured out.

Well just did the head gasket and studs (actually Todd from 2NRWERKS did most of it while i watched; big to Todd on this) :

In case you ever wanted to see your motor w/ the head off:

ARP head studs installed and 3mm gasket (3mm doesn't sound like much, but in person this thing is thick!):

Head back on, waiting for the cams:

I'll post more as things progress. This was a major step though as it's been holding everything else up.

Actually, I never want to see my motor with the head off. Bad things are happening then. Looking forward to seeing the progress Saturday.
