Default Thought I'd share the progress on my car

While waiting on a few misc. parts to arrive, I've had lots of time to pretty up my engine bay. Thought I'd share my progress.

Koyo radiator installed:

VTEC soleniod, bracket and cam chain tensioner cover mirror polished:

Custom coolant overflow can:

Prettied up the battery area:

BDL throttle body installed and intake manifold port-matched:

Finally a little bit attitude for the ol' spark plug cover:

That's it for now. Will post more as work gets done.

Haven't had the koyo in while the car was running so I can't comment on that. As far as fit and finish, everything is good except it's a pita that you can't use the stock radiator cap. I had to get one of a Nissan. Also, just FYI, the Koyos can be had on e-bay a LOT cheaper than you'll find them at a normal performance vendor's site.

And thanks all for the . It gets a little depressing when you haven't been able to drive the car in so long, so any encouragement helps a lot.

Here are a few more.

More assembly on the intake manifold:

Block-off plate for the air pump port:

Alternator, belt tensioner and water pump plate .... polished!

Crank case cover .... polished!

A lot of you've already seen these, but what the heck. Custom radiator stays:

Removed the casting marks and polished the runners on the intake manifold:

Sweet! The BDL looks awesome. I can't wait to get mine back from getting it flowed with the intake.

The Koyo radiator works great. You should put the flex fans on also. They really move air and look much nicer.
