Of course I'm new to this forum, just bought a AP2 two weeks ago. I'm in the Melbourne area. How much did you guys pay for tint? How are cops here about front windshield being tint (70 percent i would say)?

 

tint tickets are usually a secondary offense (meaning they pull you over for something else and then tack on the tint ticket), but not always. I know some guys that are limo tint on the sides and several have tinted the entire front windshield.

if you have an AP2 then you probably have a glass rear window. To tint the sides, rear and say a strip across the front should run you between 70-120 or so depending on where you go and the quality of the film used.

you can always negotiate the darkness with the install person. They usually will install whatever you tell them to. I would say do what you want but be prepared for citations if you are pulled over.

If you do get popped, roll down all your windows as you pull over

 

Or you just sign a waiver.
