to be honest with you, you dont want to go over the size reccomend.
i had put 245's on my 16's and it was garbage. you cant go around a turn over 50 cuz your ass end will step out. sidewall flex+speed= bad

The stock AP-1 Bridgestone Potenza SO2 tire is rated at a 225 width but actually has a contact patch of 245. It really depends on the particular tire you choose but I wouldn't go over a 245 width on stock AP-1 wheels.
