Wow, jeff not gonna comment on your skills. I'm sure that car is going to be/is unreal.

But as far as the sub idea, why not vent the trunk? I cut a small vent hole in the top down tray into the trunk. This allows the sub to breathe into the cabin. I get more than enough bass out of my ten, in a sealed enclosure. This way my bass remains tight, but the cabin is filled. Less so with the top down, but still suprisingly better than without porting the tray. plus it cuts down on the rattles.

For the newbies: Wear a mask if you are working with fiberglass!

I might try that Bill, I have a sealed custom fiberglass enclosure with a JL 12, it pounds, but just trying to get rid of some of the rattles. I have to run the bass control at -3, just to keep it at a minimal.
