Well, my four boys have made it notorious clear that I am not only getting old, but clearly already there. Missing this blurb on the Ultima GTR Sports car setting the Lap Record on Top Gear back in October proves it. I introduced this car to them with the ever-pleasing tease that one day I'd buy one and they would help me build it. I may be "old" but they are so gullible............ (sorry....it's cheap entertainment)

Anyhoot, in many of our happy hour discussions at Moe's, Deals Gap, Got Tea, Josh's House, Sonic, etc..... the conversations around what you would buy if you had the money revolve around NSX, Lotus, full blown race track prepped S2K, Skyline, and other testosterone raising sheet metal. However, the one car that always comes back to me as I'm cruising back home is this one .... The Ultima GTR. Some of you may have never heard of it so I am posting the website for you to drool over and read for yourselves why this car is absolutely haunting.

* how about this for a wild hair idea.....We all pitch in and buy one together. Do a group build and then share the cost of ownership, like they do with these boat buying clubs. Each owner gets the car twice a year for a week and other choice weekends. I know I am reaching for this one but someone had to start such a silly thread.....Who is next??

It may be fast, but God is it ugly!

 

 

well ... i don't think it's the best looking sports car ... but, it's like a favorite old shirt. No matter what your friends say ... it still gives you a feeling like nothing else.

 

 

 

The times this car is putting down are impressive though

You can't see the ugly from the driver's seat...as you pass everyone else.
