Default V8 Ariel Atom in Production

Every once in a while I go see what's new with ths car. I believe this is the first time that I have seen any one post info on this. This is about as closeto a street legal INDY car that will ever be on the streets ..............

They have also moved the production of the car from Oregon to the easternpart of Virginia. I smell a road trip coming up ..................

One of my dream cars... I tend to make "realistically obtainable dream goals", so I'll stick with just a Ariel Atom 3 K20 Supercharged, nothing fancy, well maybe add in the buckets rather than that plastic seating the base mode has.

That v8 one will be insane!

Always has been.........

*As far as the price, I agree that 65K has really gotten to be greedy. The first generation (USA version) was priced about $38K for the base GM motor. The S/C Honda K20 was around $50K just 1.5 years ago. BUT, frankly, it doesn't really matter. To know that you have the car that will smoke anything else on the track is all the braggin' rights you will ever need to pay for. Whether you can actually drive the cars to it's potential or not, again ....it dosen't matter. Guys who have spent $200K and more will just sit back and bow to the vehicle. Guys who have never spent $2K will do the same. It's all about what makes you happy. As for me, it just can't get any better than this .......................

If you talk roadtrip then keep me posted. I'm from VA (Richmond and surrounding areas like Mechanicsville, Ashland) so it's an annual trip for us most of the time anyway. Usually late October so we can celebrate my uncle's birthday, see the leaves change, and attend the Celtic Festival in Richmond.

The price is in the motor. I have seriously considered one of these cars.
