Default VAFC II

i just ordered my VAFC. I'm looking for someone in the area to tune my care. I'm looking for someone that has tuned S's before. I'm willing to make a scenic drive from pensacola if it is not to far, as long as it is done right. any suggestions if so can you leave there phone number thanks

I could do it, but you would need to have a wideband 02 for me to go off of. If not I would recommend a dyno.

Hey sorry not trying to hijack your thread or nething, but while you're talking about V-AFC installs I was wondering, do they finally have a harness for S2000s? The only thread I could find about it was like 3 years old, and there was one guy in the country that said he *might* do it for like $250....

Good luck with the install though, my roomate has a ridiculous tubo'd Civic hatch that he had tuned at a shop in Crestview (I don't know the name offhand, but I'm assuming it's the only shop in Crestview) and with a V-AFC they got another 30-40hp at the wheels. I know a Civic Type-R motor with a T3/T04 isn't the same as an S2000, but I know that they know how to tune Hondas ridiculously well, they've got one of like two or three guys in the state that's a certified Hondata tuner.

Yes they have a harness for it, I had one in mine (traded in for EVO at Pete Moore Mitsubishi), I bought it used with VAFC for like 275 or so.

I would highly doubt you get that many without running very lean, the most I saw was 9(all the way through) on my MY00 and even less on my MY02 (like 6 or so). To get power out of this car you need FI.

Yeah that would be a hell of a tune, it's possible since on 00-01s the computer can gain the most from tuning. If he says he can do that, I would make him prove it . Also, did he say what he used to get those #s? I mean, a VAFC isn't bad, but he might've used a Hondata or a Greddy Emanage or something.

Well here are the results. i dyno'd at 214whp, 206whp SAE corrected. I gained 10 hp in the mid range by dropping VTEC to 5600, after he messed with the fuel i only got 4 after my peak. Just figured i'd let you know, thanks for all of the help..
