Exclamation VAFC vs VAFC 2

I'm going to be buying one or the other, also i wil lb ebuying a harness for plug and play install but...........if I were to go to a dyno shop to get this tuned, would a VAFC 1 or VAFC 2 get me more hp? I know there are more tuning points but does this make a diff? Are shops familiar with the VAFC 2 use or is the VAFC 1 still the standard?

thanks!

if you have one then sell it to me!!

so does VAFC provide same gain as VAFC 2? is there a big difference? is the knock sensor valuable?

you can adjust the version 2 at smaller RPM increments. which just means you can smooth out the curve a little more. from my experience, the V2 is alot more user friendly.

Hey,

I have a slightly used VAFC2 bought in October '05. I used it for a month then took it off 'cause the guys who did the install didn't do it right. My CE light kept on coming on and was pissing me off. I'm willing to sell it cause its just sitting in the box here at home. Let's negotiate...

great thanks! I'm aiming towards a VAFC2 + easy install harness, thanks though saint. Or even a VAFC and harness. I can get a good deal on anew VAFC but im trying to see if I should hold out for the VAFC 2, im worried about knock and I think the VAFC 2 can help you detect.
