Default valve adj

So I plan to take my car to Classic Honda tommorow for a Valve adjustment, they are clicking like crazy. Is this a smart idea? Should I trust them with it haha.. They say it will most likely run me 250 or less. =/ Anybody with a similar experience or tips..

$250 Seems stiff, the ride to tampa may be worth it.

The money that you will save if you don't take it to a dealership will more than cover the gas it takes to drive to Tampa.

Luckily for the So Fla group, we have a few experienced members who do this at some of the tech days....for free!

Dont have Honda do it!!!!!!!Half of the guys at Honda will tell you that they dont need adjustment that they are self adjusting, they are but with high revs they do need manual adjustment. The s2000 has a loud valve sound always. I would have Todd do it!! Have him check your guides? Thats a lot of money for a valve job, but I know thats what Honda charges.

There is no parts required for this job unless you need a new valve cover gasket. The time it takes is about 0ne hour to one and a half hours so, Honda is over charging you. At the most this should be about $85.00 per hour....tops $170.00
