Not bad - but they're still ridiculously overpriced.

It's aching for bolt-ons. M/T dyno their car and said its actually putting out 435hp 404tq. Insane it gets 26mpg highway and can run on regular grade fuel.

I will be interested to see what the tuners are able to pull out of the new motor. I had a 06 GT auto (before I filed bankrupcy) a friend of mine is a tuner for SCT and on his dyno he was able to pull 20 hp and 10-12 tq with no bolt ons, only the SCT handheld programmer. Went from 13.80's to 13.30's on a stock car all the way to stock tires.

Why? Because a V6 Stang could possibly eat your lunch?!?

I'd Ebay some 5.0 badges for the side.

A guy I was talking to several months ago close to the project said they left an easy attainable 30hp on the table. All u need is 93octane and a cheap tune. Not sure how true it is. I know that Ford left six bolts on the motor...LOL Hmm...I wonder why they did that.

As the cars computers are becoming more technologicly advanced so are the programmers and tuners, I'm sure its very possible they left 30 hp on the table, Ford and I'm sure other's are tuning the cars back for mileage and parts longevity for warranty issues.

Samething happened in 05 when the new bodystyle came out the 99-04 bodystyle prices crashed and any equity you had in you car you lost with the coming out of the retro style Mustang. But it was only a 40 hp difference then, instead of almost 100 hp now.
