Yeah sure

I may have gained 1 or 2 back since I installed the V2 CAI but I am still going to be pig.

I love the way it looks now (minus the wheels) but I think it is time to crack open the engine and see what we can do to it.

I would probably go for support.

I'm sure my car is going to be dynoed by then when Chris tunes my car in Ft. Myers.

if yours has the rear resonator it should not be as bad as mine.

I think I was losing 5 ponies up front with the Weapon R intake and another 5 out the back with the modified HKS (estimate from the guys at XAT.)

XAT has no idea on that. You don't have the rear resonator that causes the massive back pressure. You shouldn't have lost anything from stock the pipes aren't much different from stock and the mufflers flow better than stock.

Even the people that have dynoed the HKS have only lost 3 hp from stock.

I guess once they heard my setup had the resonator removed they pinned the loss on that and the crap CAI

Back then I had no idea what any of it meant so I never investigated it. All I know is that I was about 10 hp behind everybody but one that day and I was wondering why.

They def. told me the 5 up front 5 in the rear story though so on them

Thanks for the heads up Jeff

You'd think someone with a CAI and a Invidia exhaust would generate more power than bone stock. I proved that wrong a while back. It's all how well the engine is made in the first place. Some are just stronger than others. It's the luck of the draw. Here's the results from a while back.
