Well I was hoping by making us late, we'd drive faster but all you ol' fogies never break 20mph through the corners..I understand though, your bones cant take the G forces.

Was Citgo the only gas station around? I hate seeing money going to Chavez.

I still hold fast to the "verbage" that I made at the onset of this event.....SAFETY FIRST. This was never intended to be any kind of a Dragon Run. 15 Cars is no easy task to keep organized and safe at high speed, even though I did crank it up a tad when I determined that the conditions were identified.
This was all about the fellowship and scenery. Too, I also stated that this now gave a bunch of you folks an opportunity to see the roads that I have been "carving" for the last 15 years or so. Now that you know where these are at, you may visit anytime that you would like. Private drives and PM have been a trademark for me in the past, so whenever you're ready ........
As for being old and slow, I will attest to the fact that resemble that remark and will accept that as a compliment....... Frankly, I am grateful every morning just to still have a pulse. About two and a 1/2 years ago, I wasn't too sure that I was still gonna' be around for another breath of fresh mountain air except the last one that I took as we heading "downhill". I committed to the Zacksmom I would take it back a couple of notches and still enjoy the thrill of the S2K at any speed......and I do.
And for the record, just like sitting on the last seat of the school bus, it's always faster at the end of the end of the line. Why do you think Barry always takes the rear......
